Cynthia Joan Witting

–

Agua Dulce, California

Cynthia “Cindy” Joan Witting passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025, in Valencia, California—just one day before her 63rd birthday—after a courageous 3½-year battle with cancer.

Born on May 23, 1962, in Aurora, Illinois, Cindy was a radiant soul who lived life with passion, strength, and a heart full of love. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Lucille and Lloyd Witting.

For over 20 years, Cindy worked in the jewelry industry, where her eye for beauty and dedication to excellence made her a standout. Later, alongside her loving partner of 15 years, Glen, she built a thriving metal artwork business that brought beauty and creativity to others. Together, they traveled the country in their beloved Miss Bus, finding joy in every beachside adventure and scenic road trip.

Cindy adored her slot machines, antique shopping, fine dining, vacationing, cooking and gathering loved ones around the table for elaborate holiday meals served with her finest china. She was the heart and soul of every family celebration. Her home was always open, her table always full, and her love always unconditional.

She is survived by her devoted partner Glen, her twin daughters, Kristina and Jennifer; her brother Mike and sister Sandy; five grandchildren and 2 bonus daughters Jennie and Cassie; who were the light of her life. Cindy’s deep devotion to her daughters and grandchildren was unwavering—she never missed a birthday, never skipped a school event or game, and was always there, while sick silently enduring her own pain just to be present for the people she loved.

A vibrant, colorful spirit, Cindy had a magnetic energy and a kind heart. Her many friends would say she lit up every room she entered. She loved her wine, her music—especially the Grateful Dead—and always viewed the world through rose-colored glasses. Even during her illness, she never complained. Most people didn’t even know she was sick. That was just Cindy—strong, selfless, and full of grace.

She was, in every sense, a bright light to everyone who knew her.

Though her absence is unimaginable, her love remains with us—steady, fierce, and unforgettable.

A private memorial will be held in her honor. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you raise a glass, play her favorite music, and take a moment to hug the people you love.
