Lawrence Nichols

Lawrence David Nichols, a resident of Stevenson Ranch, California took his final bow on February 18, 2025. Born on May 21, 1952, in Bakersfield, California, Larry was a loving husband to his wife of 43 years, Sheryl, and father to his two sons, Cade (Elana) and Kyle (Alannah). He also leaves behind his granddaughter Remi and his brother, Steve (Tina). He was preceded in death by his father, Ivan, his mother, Imogene, and his sister Lynn. Larry was a commercial photographer by profession. His work, spanning 40 years, is a testament to his dedication to his craft and his love for the world around him. In the words of Ansel Adams, "You don't take a photograph, you make it," and Larry had a gift to make moments come alive in his photos. Larry’s wonderful photos will continue to be cherished by his family, friends and future generations. Larry also loved swimming laps, music, writing songs, playing guitar, surfing, traveling to Camp Nelson and Maui and his cat, Kitty. Larry will be missed everyday by those that loved him and will continue to live on in the hearts of those he left behind.
