Rene Renteria

In the early hours of May 12, 2026, Rene Renteria, a resilient man passed away at the young age of 34. Born on December 17, 1991, in North Hollywood, California.

Rene's ambition was not limited to academia alone. He was a beacon of hope and inspiration for many, embodying the true essence of resilience. Rene possessed a unique ability to transform even the most challenging situations into opportunities for growth, reflecting his courageous nature. He was funny, always able to bring light to the darkest of situations with his quick wit and infectious laughter. Rene's life may have ended, but his legacy of resilience, ambition, humor, and courage will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rene lived in Los Angeles, California, for 34 years. At the age of 18, Rene enlisted into the United States Marines Corps. He attained the rank of Corporal, trained as a pre scout sniper and survived 2 tours. Following his military service he joined Los Angeles Police Department and patrolled for a year. After retiring his primary occupation was as a student, showing his unwavering commitment to personal growth and continuous learning. Rene earned an Associates in Science in Electrical Technology.

Rene is survived by his beloved father, Juan, his loving mother, Rosa and siblings. His care and services are under the direction of North Valley Cremation & Funeral Services. We will remember Rene not for his demise but for his vibrant life, his resilience in the face of adversity, his ambitious pursuits, his funny anecdotes, and his courageous spirit.
